Anthony,
My daughter Nicole died April 16th at Virginia Tech. As I continued to struggle, another family member who lost a child that day introduced me to your book "A Travel Guide to Heaven". That book was such a blessing to me and brought such comfort as I struggled to understand where my daughter is. I bought 10 copies this December so I could give out to my family members that are also struggling to find comfort and peace. I am now reading "Ten Prayers God always says yes to". I am a Christian and losing my daughter to the VT tradegy has rocked my faith although it is not lost. Thank you for your wonderful writings that helps bring me comfort.

This book was amazing. Before reading this book, I did not know how to pray, now my prayers have meaning. The story about the authors wife and how teaching changed her life and helped her deal with her fathers illness was so powerful. Also, when the author refers to the country song "God bless the broken road... I played the song on my Ipod, and it changed my perspective on my life and how God was trying to get me to the road that leads straigt to Him. The past 4 months have been tough and tumultuous, but reading this book helped me find my ground. Not only that, for the first time I began to understand my purpose in this world. This book was easy to read and to understand.

I just received this book on Friday from the New York Public Library and today I decided to use the prayer God make me an instrument to help others from suffering. And just today someone asked me for a cup of coffee and I gave them $1. This book is a blessing to me and I will get one for each of my children. God Bless you and keep you writing.

I received my copy of this book this past Thursday. I started reading it Friday evening and planned on reading one chapter a night. After reading chapter one, I started to repeat the prayer. My son passed away 4 months ago and I have been left with the burden of selling his house in a particulary bad market with no success at all, even though the price was way below market. As I mentioned above I started saying this prayer repeatedly and God showed me that he heard me. On Saturday, I was presented with a signed contract. Today at Sunday mass I was still repeating the prayer, it has become a mantra and when Mass began and the priest was walking down the aisle I was filled with the most overwhelming feeling that I cannot put into words except to say that it was peaceful, glorious, and I knew that God was showing himself to me. I now continue to pray for acceptance and peace on the loss of my beloved son. Thank you.
