Since last year, my whole famiy is having difficult time. I am having difficult fiancial situation, but God provided some way to get scholorship from church and seminary. God answered my prayer to keep studing so I am graduating this coming in May. Prasie the Lord. God alwayws answered our prayer and gave us more than what I expected from Him.

God answered my prayers for my daughter Jennifer who had been in a very bad accident and was suffering from pain in her neck and back to the point that she said it was unbearable. I asked God to give me a word/answer of what to do and he lead me to a Dr who helped her almost immediately. I know in my heart it was through God's guidance and it is a miracle that all the pain is gone and I praise him and honor him for answered pray.

My daughter got hooked on drugs about 3 years ago. Her father and I pastor a church and this was devastating on many fronts. There was a time, I didn't know what to pray, but finally I begin to ask God to simply put people in her life that would continue to point her to Christ. There is no way in this short space that I can tell you the different people that she has met that showed her the love of Christ and spoke Him into her life. All of which, without a doubt, were divine interventions on her behalf, and led her back to God. I praise my Lord for His love and protection. She has been clean for one year and 46 days.

I want to tell you that this book has been an answer to prayer. I cannot begin to tell you how many times I have read and re-read this book. Sought it out in times of sadness and suffering for myself or others. I sat and read a couple of chapters to my mother who is blind, and she kept saying it seemed as though the writer of the book was just sitting in her home talking to her. It is so understandable and a true blessing. So Ten Prayers is an answer to my prayer.

God has answered so many prayers of our family, it would take hours and pages to tell you about it. The most incredible was when I was cured of ovarian cancer at the age of 31. I had asked the Lord to just give me time until my son (who was then 4 yrs old) was 21 years of age, till he was on his feet, and the Lord gave me a lifetime. I did not have to go for chemotherapy or any sort of treatment. I am cured and I owe it to the Lord. I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease 2 yrs. ago and again through prayer the doctors were able to diagnose my disease and now I am on medication, but feel secure in the knowledge that I always have a place to go to when I am tired or burdened with any sort of trouble. Praise the Lord!

I am a Secular Franciscan, at our meeting in July, a lady's dying wish was to be professed into our order. I was being tortured with an unusual ear ache. I went to specialist and was told it could be the beginning of shingles. I could think of nothing else. I went to mass and asked our pastor to annoint me and those present to lay hands on me. I promised to look into the lady's request. I then went directly to hospital to visit. Sometime during the day all pain left, not even sure when. I had to go thru several unusual steps but the next week the lady was professed into the SFO. No shingles ever broke out. I feel the Lord healed me so that I could do His will. Praise our Good God!

I was praying in front of the Blessed Sacrament during my holy hour in early May a few years ago. It was getting really late to find a summer babysitter for our kids. I was crying and upset for always having too much to do with working full-time. I prayed that God would take this burden from me and help me find a caring person to help for the summer. The very next day, I was led to search our local newspaper's classified ads from their web site - something I had never done before. Figuring it was worth a shot, I found three ads for teenagers who wanted summer nanny jobs!! Not only did God answer my prayer, he made it so we had three wonderful people to choose from in the end.

I'm always broke and looking for money. Long story short: my daughter needed gas $ and I shorted myself $5 so that she could have some and within 2 hours I found $6!!
