Message: Our 1 story, 2 bedroom 1 bath house built in 1942 was dangerously falling apart. We had refinanced and were prepared to do a much needed renovation, but then we discovered I was pregnant with our 2nd child. During the next 24 months, my husband decided to change careers but was unable to find steady work and I was dealing with diabetes, asthma, post-partum depression and then was laid off from my corporate position. We used up the renovation money we borrowed as well as any college and retirement savings we had. Eventually, my husband found a decent position and I became self-employed but by this time our roof was leaking and damaging our carpet and floors, our sewer line was constantly backing up, our antiquated electrical fuses kept blowing out, and a family of mice had established permanent residency under our kitchen stove. We were concerned with the health and safety of our young children. As our living conditions worsened, I found myself almost constantly in prayer. Aside from my evening devotionals and my prayers before and after meals, I awoke everyday at 5am to have my morning "talk with God". I began attending Mass and praying the rosary daily. I was praying in the car before and after I picked up our kids from school and daycare and as I drove from client to client. Then I began taking classes to begin teaching 2nd grade Religious Education along with First Communion and First Reconciliation sacrament preparation. God answered my prayers and with the help of my 80 year old uncle, my 70 year old father, a 50 year old cousin, and the hospitality of my sister, my husband was able to demolish our old home and custom build his family a brand new 2 story, 3 bedroom, 3 bath home with a detached 3 car garage all designed by the in-house architect/legal advisor to Fr. Joe Carroll for the St. Vincent De Paul Center! Truly God makes all things work together for the good of those who are called according to His purpose.

Message: God has always been so faithful to me and my family. My daughter was pregnant with her first child and suffered from Hellp-pre-eclampsia/eclampsia (also called PIH, pregnancy induced hypertension), this syndrome causes Mom to become very sick and places the baby at risk. This was over looked by the doctors and was not seen until the symptoms were at their worst. She became very ill and they both were close to death. But God heard our prayer as the doctors wheeled her in for surgery with uncertainty. My grandson is 2 years old and they both are doing well with no side effects.
Pre-eclampsia/eclampsia is most common in first pregnancies; it can recur in subsequent pregnancies. My daughter also has a healthy 5 month old son sent straight from heaven. The name of Jesus is above all names, all fear and doubt. He brought life to my family and life more abundantly.

Message: On March 27th, 2008, my 24 yr old son who was a recent college and state police academy grad was struck head on by a drunk driver. He died a few hours later. We as a family have asked God to bring good out of this bad situation, to get us through this suffering, give us courage and wisdom to keep his memory alive. Since then, we have spoke to students of two high schools, an airforce base, and a group of air force recuits about what they can do to prevent this tragedy from happening in their lives. We plan to continue this effort and more with God's help.

Message: God has answered my prayers over and over as I struggled to raise my children alone and trusted him to be our provider and my strength. I prayed for my faith to grow and each day God shows me he is here and will always be for me to help me overcome my challenges in this life.

Message: I attended an Alpha session at my church, until then I was a "Lutheran" but not necessarily a Christian, meaning I didn't think about having a Christ-centered life. During Holy Spirit weekend, I asked God to show me that he heard "me". Then before my closed eyes I saw a picture of my dad, who passed away, that I carry in my wallet, and God said to me, "I am your father in Heaven, you know my love because I love you like your father did, my love is eternal" !! wow !!

Message: Message: I started praying for my miece when she was born that she would be saved at a very young age. God answered that prayer not long ago. She told her dad one night before bed time that she wanted to be saved and she asked Jesus into her heart right at her bedside. she was five years old and she could tell you about the decision that she had made. Now I am praying for the other niece who is four years old that she will be saved at a young age. Praise the Lord!!!!!
